Specify which plot's info. to use

When you create a graph, the Y axis title will display the Name (Long Name, if it exists) and Units of the first column plotted as Y. When plotting more than one Y column, you can control which column's name is used for the Y axis title. To do so:

  1. Select Format: Page. Make the Legends/Titles tab active.
  2. Change the Index value of Data Plot Index for Auto Axis Titles.

The Y axis title will display the Name and Units of the associated Y column.

Note: If you do not want Units, uncheck the Show Units... checkbox.

Specify what metadata to use

By default, the plot's name (Long Name, if it exists) and Units display as axis title. If you want to use other information from data as axis title, you can double click axis title. It will show %(?Y). Change it with @Options into

  •  %(?Y, @LC) --- if you want to use plotted Y's column comments as axis title. If it's X axis, you can use %(?X,@LC)
  •  %(?Y, @WL); --- the workbook long name of plotted Y

Please refer to Axis Title and Complete List of @Options sections of the Text Label Options table to for more info.
