1.73 FAQ-201 Is there a way to zoom in to a ternary graph?

Last Update: 8/1/2018

Ternary plot scales can be zoomed in to any value between 0 and 1.

To zoom in a Ternary plot:

  1. Click the Scale In button on the Tools toolbar. The cursor will change to a magnifier.
  2. Drag a triangle area on the Ternary plot to zoom in that area.

or

  1. Double click on one of the three axes. It opens the Axis dialog.
  2. On the Scale tab, set From and To to desired values between 0 and 1.
  3. Press the OK button.

Note: Like other plot types, the Ternary graph can also be zoomed in by using the zoom and pan tool, but this does not rescale the axes. It only affects display within Origin; it won't have any impact on printed or exported graphs.
