1.132 FAQ-720 When I change the Axis Scale Type of the stacked plots from Linear to Log10, the plots seem weird. How do I fix it?

Last Update: 8/27/2015

Sometimes changing Axis Scale Type may dramatically change the plot range displaying in the graph window, such as changing Axis Scale Type from Linear to Log10. If this type of change is made to a group of stacked plots, the plot display range may vary between different plots. In other words, the proportion between plots are changed after changing the scale type and thus the plots look weird. To show the stacked group plots correctly,

  1. Double click at the blank space inside the layer to open the Plot Details dialog.
  2. Make sure layer level is selected on the left panel and then activate the Stack tab on the right panel.
  3. Select Auto for Offset and check the Keep Proportion of Plot Range checkbox.
