Input

Specifies the input signal.

Wavelet Type

Specifies the type of the wavelet used in multi-level wavelet decomposition and reconstruction.

  • Haar
    Haar wavelet
  • DB2
    Daubechies wavelet (N=2)
  • DB3
    Daubechies wavelet (N=3)

  • DB8
    Daubechies wavelet (N=8)
  • DB9
    Daubechies wavelet (N=9)
  • DB10
    Daubechies wavelet (N=10)
  • Bior1.1

  • Bior3.5
    Biorthogonal (Nr=3, Nd=5)
  • Bior3.7
    Biorthogonal (Nr=3, Nd=7)
Extension Mode

Specifies the end extension mode.

  • Periodic
The input signal will be viewed as periodic.
  • Zero-padded
The data points outside the input range will be viewed as zeroes.
Output

Specifies the output for the reconstructed signal.

Threshold Type

Specifies the method to decide the threshold for truncating the detail coefficients of each level.

  • custom
The threshold is set with the Threshold of every Level (%) control.
  • sqtwolog
The threshold is computed from the length of detail coefficients
Thresholding Level

Specifies the number of levels for which detail coefficients are to be thresholded. A large level will cause more noise to be removed; but the probability that the useful signal is distorted will also increase.

Threshold of every Level (%)

This option is only available when Threshold Type is Custom. It specifies a threshold value in percentage.
