29.4.7 100% Stacked Column Graph

Data Requirements

Select at least one Y column of values (or a range from at least one column). If there is an associated X column, X column supplies X values; otherwise, sampling interval of the Y column or row number is used.

Creating the Graph

Select required data.

From the menu, select Plot > Bar, Pie, Area: 100% Stacked Column.

or

Click the 100% Stacked Column button on the 2D Graphs toolbar.

Notes

This graph type can also be created from a Stacked Column Graph, by selecting the Normalize to Percent for Cumulative box on the Stack tab of the Plot Details - Layer Properties dialog box. You can opt to show the data labels as percentage values by setting Label Form to Custom and Format String = $(p,.0)% on the Label tab of the Plot Details dialog.

You can add error bars to your 100% stacked column graph by pairing Y and yEr± columns in the worksheet. For more information see Adding Error Bars to your Graph, Method 1 -Preset Plot Designations.
