5.3 Matrixsheets

As mentioned, the matrixbook must contain at least one and may contain as many as 1024 matrixsheets. In turn, each matrixsheet contains one or more matrix objects (the "hard limit" is 65k objects in a sheet, though system resources will likely determine the actual limit).

A number of important matrix properties belong to the matrixsheet, and are thus shared among the sheet's matrix objects. Among those properties are the matrix dimensions (which determine the number of Z data points), the matrix data type, data format and display characteristics and the matrix coordinate values (the range of X and Y values).


Adding more than 255 sheets requires saving project as OPJU (available in Origin 2018 SR0 and later).
