Description:

PURPOSE
This app can be used to extract xy data including meta data from all curves in the graph or only extract visible data in the current graph layer by zoom in or scale in tool.

INSTALLATION
Download the file Extract_XY_Data_from_Graph.opx, and then drag-and-drop onto the Origin workspace. An icon will appear in the Apps Gallery window.

OPERATION

  1. Make a graph window with xy plot active. Click Extract XY Data from Graph icon in the Apps Gallery window. A dialog will open.
  2. Only Extract Visible Data in Current Layer check box can be used to extract visible data in the current graph layer, e.g. use Zoom In or Scale In tool in Tools toolbar to zoom in the graph and select the specified region.
  3. Click OK button. It will copy data for all plots to a new Book.
