Description:

  • Purpose
This app helps to synchronize signals recorded with different sampling rates using a user-specified sampling frequency.
  • Installation
Download the file "Synchronize Signals.opx", and then drag-and-drop onto the Origin workspace. An icon will appear in the Apps gallery window.
  • Operation
    1. Click the app icon from Apps gallery window.
    2. Select column(s) from worksheets as Input Signal(s).
    3. You can specify original sampling frequency of the input signal, or use the detected (highest) sampling frequency as original sampling frequency for the input signal.
    4. Specify new sampling frequency for the output.
    5. If you want the X range of the output for all signals to be the same, check Use Common X Range checkbox.
    6. Select the method for interpolation for synchronization.
    7. Select where to output the result and click OK button to synchronize signals.
  • Dialog Settings:
    • Input Signal(s): Specify data of signal(s).
    • Specify Original Sampling Freq.: If you know the original sampling frequency of the signal, you can check it.
    • Original Sampling Freq.: If Specify Original Sampling Freq. is checked, this is shown for typing the original sampling frequency with unit.
    • (Highest) Sampling Freq. of Signal(s): If only one input signal, it shows the detected sampling frequency of this signal. If more than one signals, the highest sampling frequency of all signals are shown.
    • New Sampling Freq.: Specify the new sampling frequency for synchronization, together by choosing unit.
    • Use Common X Range: If checked, use the common X range of the input signals.
    • Method: Please refer to Method Option.
    • Output Synchronized Signal(s): Where to output the results.
    • OK and Close: Click OK to generate the synchronized signal, and Close to close the dialog without doing anything.

Updates:
