Purpose
This app generates convex hull for a set of XY data points.
Installation
Download the file "Convex Hull 2D.opx", and drag-and-drop onto the Origin workspace. An icon will appear in the Apps gallery window.
Operation
- Click the app icon from the Apps gallery window.
- If you start the App from a graph of your XY data, the input data will be automatically assigned.
If you start from a worksheet, you can preselect the desired data, or make the selection from the dialog that opens.
- The output columns will contain the XY value for boundary points.
If you started from a graph, the calculated hull curve will be added to the graph.
- Polygon area and perimeter values will be reported to Results Log.
