Description:

INSTALLATION
Download the 3D Wall Profile.opx, and then drag-and-drop onto the Origin workspace. An icon will appear in the Apps Gallery window.

OPERATION

  1. Activate a 3D surface graph plotted from XYZ data or from a matrix.
  2. Click the 3D Wall Profile icon.
  3. In the dialog, select the profile type. Use the slider or enter specific X/Y values for profile location.
  4. Click the Style button to set line color and thickness.
  5. Click Output button to save the current result. You can create multiple profile lines in both X and Y directions.

04/26/2018OriginLabhi max6orn, you can use the Profile Plot in Origin's plot menu to define a slice with specified thickness and then sum/average across that slice width etc. See https://www.originlab.com/doc/Origin-Help/View-Profile-MatData

04/25/2018max6ornOk. Only the plot window was lost. I recover the project. And then got the app working. I just wish the interval to use for a profile could be defined, because the use I have for this was to integrate the whole curve and plot the projection, not just individual slices. Thanks for this tool anyways.

04/25/2018max6ornIt crashed my project, and made the prj file unusable. I lost a lot of hrs working on it. Nice idea though, and I hope to get it working.
